If that's the case then how come I was able to use Maggie (Heatran) and Brother (Latios. I know strange name for a pokemon but meh).

I just posted a link to the Serebii page on flat rules. Heatran and Latios are not considered "special pokemon" so they're allowed in flat rules.

By the way, your team was pretty epic. Except wailord, which needed a bit more training. And a choice scarf.

Aaargh. I have too many sweepers on my team. Are there any good Poison-type tanks?

Yeah sorry if Blubby (Wailord) looked ridculous. It wasen't strong like the other two but hey I felt sorry for not using that pokemon in a long while. I don't think I have a choice scarf for it but why would it do good for it? Is there something special behind it?

Choice Scarf gives a 1.5x increase to speed, at the cost of only being able to use one move. This means that Blubby can move faster than most pokemon, so he can use Water Spout before the opponent can damage him. Once he takes damage, you swith out and use a different move next time he switches in.

Tantacruel has base 120 special defense, which, in case you didn't know, is amazing. It can definitely stand up to quite a few hits. Plus, it doubles as a rapid spinner. Muk isn't as fast and it doesn't have as good special defense, but it has better HP and defense.

Oh okay thanks for the tip Gelo. The next time you and I battle, Blubby and my two new battle members will be ready for you. I wonder if Frostie might be able to battle me or not today? I'm kinda ready for her this time. ^^'

Curse you and your legendary team! If I hadn't accidently brought my Jirachi with me, I might have stood a chance at the flat rules thing. I'm being such a total lunkhead and I should have known better. Also I so knew you were going to use Arecus anyway. -_-

Nah it's alright and your battle skills taught me a vauleble lesson. Always train your pokemon and teach them handy moves or else it will turn out worse for the person. Anyways I need my rest. When I feel like battling you again, I'll let you know.

Doesn't matter. I'll bring some pokemon to cover its weaknesses anyway.

I have a problem. I finally got my Vaporeon from the Dream World, but I can't decide on a moveset.

Here's what I've got so far:

Rain Dance
Rest
Surf
Acid Armor/Ice Beam

The last move slot is the one that I can't decide on. Rain Dance increases Surf's power and also allows for a Rest that wakes up immediately, thanks to Hydration. But here are my options for the last moveslot: Acid Armor will help increase Vaporeon's poor defense, and Ice Beam gives some offensive coverage along with Surf, to deal with Dragons and Grass types.

Any suggestions?
