| Might as well give you guys an ideal battle moves for Mewtwo. My two Mewtwos ( one's a normal and the other a shiny) have powerful psychic moves. I found out that they can excel at earthquake and ice beam. I have read it somewhere before although at first I wasen't convince about it, but after teaching them the moves, they domminated their opponets that were at best a bit stronger then them. That was such an experience for me. ^^' | |

| In B/W, Mewtwo gets a new signature move. I forgot the name (I think it's Psycho Something), but it works against the foe's defense instead of Special Defence, and is a Special move. There is a similar move availible through TM, but Mewtwo's has more base power. | |

| The problem with Earthquake as a Mewtwo attack is that Mewtwo has substantially better special attack than attack. Remember that. Oh, and Ferrety, the move you're thinking of is Psystrike. Also, in response to Shadow, I use a Mienshao, and you are correct that it hits hard and fast. However, its defenses are fairly terrible, so it can barely take hits at all. A focus sash might be a logical item for it. The upside, however, is that its Inner Focus keeps it from flinching from Fake out. This is how I beat Morimoto: Liepard's Fake Out + Inner Focus + Hi Jump Kick = Win. Morimoto is actually quite easy. For anyone who doesn't know, you can find him in the Game Freak building in Castelia city after you beat the elite four the first time. His pokemon are level 75 and one is level 77. I'll list my battle strategies below: - Spoiler:
Make sure you come prepared with pokemon at least level 60, which shouldn't be too hard after going through the cities after the elite four.
Morimoto's pokemon:
Liepard Swoobat Simisage Simisear Simipour Zebstrika
His liepard comes first. Chances are it will use Fake out on you, so make sure you aren't wearing a Focus Sash, or if you are, use a ghost type. Actually, scratch that. You want to avoid his dark type attacks. So I would suggest using fighting type moves and a pokemon that resists Dark. Watch out for Grass Knot, though. It's pretty weak, but watch out for its substantial speed.
Swoobat is fairly bulky, so if any of your pokemon have Toxic, that would be great. I used my Klinklang as a toxic staller, meaning inflicting it with Toxic and resisting all its other moves. You'll definitely want something that can get a supereffective hit. But take it out in as little moves as possible, because it has Endeavor and can take you down with it if you're not careful. Ghost type can eliminate the threat of Endeavor.
Simisage and its brothers are very much the same. They each have a move that corresponds to its type, and three others in common: Payback, Acrobatics, and Crunch. They shouldn't be too hard as long as you have resistances. But watch out for when they eat their berries, which is actually quite soon because of their gluttony ability. When they consume their berry, Acrobatics' power doubles. Take them each out with a pokemon that can resist them, since their offensive stats aren't bad at all.
Zebstrika is pretty straightforward. Send out a ground type if you have one, and make sure to bring a revive or two. When it uses Giga Impact, take advantage of the down time to attack it or revive/heal another key pokemon in your party. This pokemon can be a MAJOR pain if you're not prepared, and may take all the pokemon in your party. A water/ground type like Whiscash, Swampert, or Seismitoad is ideal. Especially Seismitoad, because it can take hits very well and may even survive a Giga Impact if it's at full health.
Overall, a pretty easy battle if you have the right pokemon.

I don't remember much from the Dragon gym, but what I can remember is that your leader (either Iris or Drayden depending on version) has a Fraxure, Druddigon, and Haxorus. I'll check up Serebii and see if I can think up some advice on the spot... ... Okay, here's some advice I can give: 1. ALL of the leader's pokemon moves are resisted by steel. Pretty much all of them except for Druddigon's revenge, so watch out for that. Send out a steel type, switch out at Druddigon, and you should be all set. 2. Avoid using Fire, Water, Grass, or Electric moves as they are all resisted by Dragon types. Ice type moves are supereffective. Dragon type moves are also supereffective, but not ideal if you're using another Dragon type for obvious reasons. 3. If you have no ice types, then bring a few revives. You might need to use them if you're getting pummeled by his pokemon. 4. Remember, Haxorus has an extremely painful base 147 attack stat, so if anything, save your steel type for him. I hope this helps.

| Newsflash! Gain an Eevelution with a Dream World ability (when the Global Link opens) Here! You need to create an account to play, though. Also, get Espeon. It's ability could be considered more broken than Wonder Guard. Also, people will now have a reason to use Espeon. | |

| You use status effects on them like posion, burn, paralises and sleep to start off with. Then you get their health to the red zone and then capture them. Is that the advice you were going to say to us? | |

| Well sort off but there are specific balls that are very effective against certain legendaries. | |

| I think masterball would be a good one since you can catch any pokemon without fail. So what other balls are effective then? Ultra balls? Great balls? Pokeball? Healball? Netball? Timerball? Premier ball? It's amazing how I'm able to name that many pokeballs lol. ^^' | |

| @shadow,
I advice using a Timer Ball. Try to make the battle very long (without killing it) and throw a Timer Ball. But if your seeking advice on cathching those 'hit and flee' type Ubers... I can't help you.
You could always try to put it asleep and buy yourself some time.

| Not poison or burn. Just paralysis. Poison and burn take away their health, so you'll have less chance to catch a legendary. Most legendaries can be found in caves; use Dusk Balls on them, as they have a 3.5 capture rate, meaning they are 3.5 time more powerful than a poke ball. And as for roaming legendaries, like Thundurus, get it down to very low health, paralyze it, and let it run away. Next time you see it, use a Quick Ball. Since it's on the first turn of the battle, Quick Ball has a capture rate of 4. And that's a lot.
Anyway, like Ferrety said, get your eevelutions while you still can. I got Vaporeon because I thought its Dream World Hydration ability would make it a great rain-rester, meaning when it rains, it can use rest and be healed immediately. Any pokemon with Hydration that can learn Rest can do this.

| I caught Kyurem with a timer ball and also Cobolion. Two legendaries. The net ball is very effective with the bug / fire type that is located in The Ruins at level 70. | |

You mean Volcarona? Yeah, I used a net ball on him. It was surprisingly easy. I'm starting to wonder if it's easier to catch legendaries in this generation.

| Any suggestions on how to catch Shinies? Also, by the sound of it you can't catch Shiny Poke'mon from LeafGreen and transport them to Pearl? I read shininess works differently depending on the generation, and I don't know if it's compatible. (I hope ir's compatible, I really want a shiny Spinarak) | |

| Well, I suggest having ALOT of pokeballs, weak pokemon that do a fair amount of damage and free time. Just try running in the tall grass for a LONG time. I found a shiny rosellia on an airplane, but I didn't have any pokeballs. That really sucked. | |

Okay, thanks. I have only ever seen a Shiny Geodude (once), and it used self-destruct. EDIT: I heard Repels help. Is this true? EDIT2: I have inserted LeafGreen. The DS has frozen (I have to admit I might have not been the best care-taker, still, I try to be careful and some, if not most of it was probably the neighbor's fault... no offense to them or anything). EDIT: okay, it is no longer frozen. Starting Poke'mon LeafGreen... EDIT: using Ace's (one of the few Poke'man's names I will mention here because I'm so bad at making names... like seriously bad) fly I have flown to the closest town to Pattern Bush. To the Poke'mart! EDIT: has my editing annoyed you to death yet? Muahahaha! Anyway, will this be good: 6 great Balls 4 Ultra Balls 2 Poke' Balls (would have got more, but the two towns here only have Great and Ultras) 1 Luxury Ball (I wish I had another one of those...) Team: Ace, lvl 58 Pidgeot Steel Wing Aerial Ace Agility Fly Zapdos, lvl 64 (the nickname was so bad I won't even think of it) Thunder Wave Thunder Detect Drill Peck Zeke, lvl 68 Venosaur Cut Frenzy Plant Leech Seed Toxic Victribell lvl 51 (wow, the name is almost as bad a Zapdos's...) Sludge Bomb Sweet Scent Return Sleep Powder Krabby lvl 22 Strength Surf Vicegrip Rock Smash Edna, lvl 36 Pupitar Thrash Sandstorm Substitute Rock Slider Although not in my party, I also have Seely, lvl 63 Dewgong (I must have been in a really uncreative mood when I caught her...) Blizzard Sheer Cold Ice Beam Rest Opinion would be appreciated. EDIT: I switched Zapdos with a lvl 18 Omanyte, I thought of switching with a lvl 21 Spinarak, but decided not to. Well, I'm off! I just wish I could get that Net Ball... EDIT: ohmygawsh, Metapod used Harden! What do I do? What do I do?! *Dies in fear* Sorry, couldn't help it. Final Report: haven't seen one Spinirak, let alone a shiny one. This is beginning to look hopeless, I will probably be here for months.

I recently found a shiny while playing Soul Silver in the middle of the night. I was acually quite sleepy when I found it. I was walking though that Icy Cave area and Commenting on any pokemon I found. "Oh look, another Dewgong. Woo." "Ooooh, a Delibird, that's different..." "Swinub are cute I guess..." "Oh, It's a Shiny Dewgong... WAIT WHAT?!" I almost dropped my DS when I noticed it was shiny. xD (I caught it BTW, that makes 3 legit shinies I've caught so far)
