Act 3: Once he leaves, you find a way around the gate and encounter the criminal, but he is dead and the money is gone. You leave, and find that the victim has gotten his bag of money back. He tells you that the criminal was dead when he got there, so he took the money back.
Act 4: You walk around town, thinking that your job is done, when you notice a wanted poster with the victim's face on it! The poster says that the victim had performed an illegal purple spice trade to get that bag of money!
Act 5: You go out and try to find him, but he is wandering around the city and you must use your minimap to find him. Once you catch up with him, he uses his emergency teleporter to flee.
Act 6: You follow the teleport signal to his hideout, but he expected you and he activated a giant defensive robot!
Act 7: You have to fight the robot outside, where the streets have been deserted.
Act 8: As soon as the robot is destroyed, the police arrive to arrest the bad guy. The end.

My wrists hurt after typing all that. I hope that gives you some ideas!
Thanks! but i will tweak it a little, For example there aren't really any high-tech robots...

I made it a little more free than yours, I made it so you didn't have to make allies, and so you had a choice between allies. I also included a rogue creature to make it more like creature stage. But YOU definitely win the prize for planet building and atmosphere!

What if there was a race that is asking you to test their new Virtual Reality system, and you go into the gridded room, walk around, yadda yadda yadda... But you then realise can't get out. Why? Because the system has a virus (in the form of a creature) and the only way to escape is to destroy the virus! (and face a bunch of challenges along the way, such as "firewalls" etc.)
Totally different perspective, but it's just an idea
That sounds a lot like the story of my V-Spore series... oh well. i dont have it copyrighted. XD

Well, why don't you come up with a socialization adventure? There aren't many of them out there, you know. I'm sure people love playing them, they'd just rather focus on combat. Maybe the adventure is about your empire making an alliance with another empire, and you have to befriend some of the council members... something like that.

Yeah! My main Captain is a Bard so more socialization the better!

Here's an idea for anyone to use. I was originally going to use it for the Alien Cryptid contest, but I decided to go for a more natural feel in that one. So here it is:

You are sent down to a planet in search of an endangered animal, so you can bring it to your empire for a repopulation project. Unfortunately, you find that the only living specimen has been stolen by pirates! They fly away, but leave a teleport module on the ground, allowing you to teleport onto their ship. On the ship there is a large room with a maze of raised paths above an electrified floor. Upon entering, you can see a pirate walking on a catwalk up high, revealing that this is the place you need to get to. Without falling to a burning death, you collect a key and open the locked door that leads you to a ramp, leading to the catwalk. After that is the bridge, where you must defeat robot servants to recue the creature.

I have a huge list of adventure ideas that I hope to use for myself one day, but I didn't like this one very much, so anyone can use it. (If you do use it, let me know when you're done the adventure so I can play it) If I find another story from the list, I'll be sure to post it here.

Okay, how about this: You are the alpha creature in your pack. There is a nearby tribe that has stolen all your eggs to eat. You must go into the tribe, collect the eggs, and escape without getting eaten. Upon your return, you are told that another alpha in the pack has been stolen by the tribe to produce eggs. Once again, you go in the tribe, rescue the poor creature, and come back, finally realizing that you must put an end to the horrible tribe. You once again sneak into the tribe, find a lit torch, and set the main hut on fire. After running back to your nest, the whole tribe explodes and your pack celebrates. The end.

Exploding Tribes? um... Explosions are cool and all, but ya exploding tribes

It actually worked out quite well in the adventure! It was really funny to see tribe members flying through the air really fast! And it was even funnier when a stone axe flew by and hit the tribe member on the head!

I'm currently working on Part 2 of the GA you've already helped me quite a bit with. It's still going to be called The Carnival of Monsters. Here's basically what I have so far. You beam down into a cage, which you have to destroy the door to if you ever want to get anywhere. It's not a goal, you just have to do it. Then you go find the Doctor, and he tells you something about the Ringmaster's psychic transmitters that need to be deactivated. He also tells you that some of the audience members may have been brainwashed to attack you, but you can't hurt any of them. Sneak around them, run away from them, whatever you have to do, just don't fight them. And that's all I got so far, pretty much just act 1... Hoping to make it 8 acts long. Any good ideas about this GA would be appreciated and credited if used. tupps!

I would be glad to help out with this... but I haven't been able to play the first part, so I'm kind of lost as to what's going on in the story. If you can fill me in, I'll see what I can come up with.

Part 1 - Greatest Show in the Galaxy - Beam down into the stands next to the Doctor.
Talk to the Doctor, he suggests you slip backstage to check out if a rumor is true. Talk to a wildlife specialist and then the Ringmaster backstage.
The wildlife specialist is scared about a very dangerous animal being used in the show (the animal the rumor was about), but the Ringmaster claims the animal isn't really there. It's the psychic part of the psychic circus, something about subliminal transmitters embedded in the prop cage the wildlife specialist is looking at.
When you leave the backstage area to tell the Doctor about the subliminal transmitters, he's gone. The man who was sitting next to him in the stands tells you where he ran off to. You go there, you don't find him, just the Leading Lady. She basically tells you that this place is a trap and your mind is going to get harvested if you stay.
You then try to warn a few of the audience members, but none of them take you seriously.
You go backstage to confront the Ringmaster. The prop cage is gone and the wildlife specialist is dead. The Ringmaster claims the Wildlife Specialist had a heart attack, and tells you to get back to your seat. Once the Ringmaster hears you came with the Doctor, he teleports himself away and your left to fight some clowns.
After that, you find the Doctor again, and he basically tells you that he's about to get teleported away, but you can't help because you're no psychic. You'll only get yourself killed, or worse, harvested. You have to get inside the TARDIS before they teleport you away too... Then he vanishes in a puff of black smoke.
Once you get back to the TARDIS, you decide that you can't just wait in the TARDIS. Psychic or not, you have to stay and help the Doctor. End.
That's basically part 1. Part 2 is supposed to begin with you apparently being teleported into a cage.

Okay... so you get teleported into the cage, you break the cage door, and find the Doctor in front of the TARDIS (which has moved closer to the cage). The Doctor says he followed your teleport path with the TARDIS to find you. He tells you that the entire circus is actually an illusion caused by the psychic transmitters all around the perimeter of the circus. It is your job to destroy all of them without harming the audience. So you go around the circus, destroying the transmitters and avoiding the audience. (I suggest you use advanced behaviors to make it so that when the audience members are down to half health, they'll stop attacking you, in case you have to fight them for some reason.) So once all the transmitters are destroyed, you expect everything to disappear, but for some reason, it doesn't. That's when you discover that the ringmaster is back, and he is using the psychic projection of the incredibly dangerous animal to keep the circus together. Because there are no psychic transmitters helping out, the creature is not very well defended because it is the only thing keeping the circus in existence. So you use either your weapons or some kind of explosives lying around to destroy the creature, which disappears, and the ringmaster appears where it stood. You talk to him, and he tries to teleport away, but he can't because his psychic transmitters are gone. All of the circus, the tent, the cages, everything except the people are destroyed in a great big explosion, and all that is left is a barren wasteland around you. The Doctor arrives and congratulated you on saving the day.

I know it's a bit of a stretch to say that the whole circus is an illusion, but trust me, it looks REALLY cool when everything blows up all at once. It makes your computer run really slow and makes it look like slow motion. To make this effect, on the last act, set all the buildings to zero health.
