@Darkstar: The display of the planets under the player's ownership looks just like that of spore, so yes it did. This trailer advertises some of the elaboration of the galaxy and its possibilities that spore really lacks. I assume that Endless Space in turn lacks the creature creator and just allows you to select a wide variety of races, so if the two were combined, there would be a fantastic game.
