Anybody want to battle me? I only use one legendary in my party, and it's not even a super-powerful one. (I won't tell what it is; you have to battle me to find out)

If you trade in 6 DS, Wii or Xbox games at gamestop, you get credit off of it, when I did this, I only had to pay 45$ along with my DS and charger.

Anyway, I just re-named my Victreebel Muscivora, why? It's a long story:

*Victreebel is based on a Pitcher Plant, it is a carnivorous plant.
*A Venus Flytrap is a carnivorous plant as well.
*When searching for a Venus Flytrap, I accidentally called it a 'Flycatcher', a Flycatcher is a bird.
*On Wikipedia, the picture for the whole Tyrant Flycatchers genus (named for their aggression over their feeding grounds) was the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.
*Now, the Scissor-Tailed Flycathcer's Latin name is Tyrannus forficatus (Tyrannus, the Flycathcer Genus, forficatus from forfex, Latin for 'scissor'), however it was previously Muscivora forfica (Musca means 'fly', 'vorare' means 'to devour').
*So I just decided to name it after that species of Tyrant Flycatcher.

Victreebel is actually quite a good pokemon. Not in the higher tiers, of course. But it can be a formidable physical attacker under the proper conditions.

First of all, it has Chlorophyll, which greatly increases its potential as a sweeper. With proper sun support, it can outrun a lot of stuff (in a low tier)

105 base attack is respectable (in a low tier) and with the possibilities of Power Whip and Leaf Blade, this guy can do some damage. However, it doesn't learn any good physical poison moves, which is okay because Poison isn't a very good offensive type.

Life Orb is always an option to increase your attacking power, as Victreebel packs Synthesis (which works even better in sunlight) to heal off its recoil.

Plus, it looks pretty sick.

It's actually probably my best on my planned Competitive Team (which will probably fail all the competitive competitions anyway), along with Venusaur.


Also, yeah, it is pretty awesome looking.

P.S. Seribi (or whatever it's called) said Sludge Bomb, Swords Dance, Giga Drain and Sleep Seed are good. However, by the sounds of it I think I should replace Sleep Seed with Sunny Day, seeing as my Vileplume will end up having Sleep Seed anyway.

By Sleep Seed you mean Sleep Powder, right?

But actually, I don't know where you read that, but that's a terrible idea. Swords Dance raises attack, and Giga Drain and Sludge Bomb are special attacks. Unless it's third gen, in which sludge bomb is physical, but even then, you get no boost for Giga Drain and you waste a turn on it.

And why are you using Victreebel, Vileplume, and Venusaur all on the same team? They're all the same types, and therefore all have the same weaknesses. They can all be taken out with one strategic sweeper. I suggest spreading out your types to have the best defenses against sweepers. You'll also want to include some phazers or counters against sweepers.

Well... have Ariados, he's not Grass/Poison. :p

EDIT: okay, I'll take Vileplume of my competitive team and replace it with Muk.

EDIT2: Victreebel can only learn Synthesis by move tutor in Platinum, Heartgold and Soulsilver, and I don't have any of those.

Proabably hacked. But still a nice pokemon. Rotom can be easily replaced, so you struck a good deal with whoever traded it to you.
