Maybe because the poll was completely rigged with alts?

Some people are just weird. Maybe those alt users will soon discover that stuff that happens on the internet really isn't important at all.

And I'd hate to see this thread turn into a rant against alts, so it would bring joy to my soul if we could get back on topic.

It's not a rant against alts it's about Dark being essentially disqualified....

Just to be clear, I'm not ranting at Dark in any way.
It's just that I'm trying to do a nice thing by hosting the SPOSCARS. I'm not trying to win myself in any way, so I'm not judging myself. But when you find out someone is deliberately sabotaging my efforts to do something fun.... Well it just takes the fun out of it.
I'll rely on the judges to give a correct result. But I will ask them all to give extensive reasons for their votes. Especially in the 'best adventure' category.

And Dark, I wish you all the luck in the contest!

It really bugs me when I see people using other communities, and their reputations within those communities, to gain Votes.

What bugs me even more, is when people start using alts to rig the polls.

Why can't people just let polls be the way they are without voting for their own adventures and asking others to vote for them.

I got the idea from parkaboy. he had a creation up asking people to vote for bauder's gate, but it's down now. I'll see if I can get a pic.

and pelicanthor? you know I'm not going to win that right? even if I didn't break any rules, they're not going to give cruise line any award. so it's a toss up between you and remy (and it'd be weird if remy won, since he's running the thing)

Wait, I thought that cruise line would still be put up for judging from the academy... if they don't judge it, that's not very fair.
The community voting should not be such a big part as the academy judging.

I liked cruise line when I played it, made me jump when the crates broke as I walked :P

Something that is done by the community should never effect the judging, they better judge it just like any other.
