Specialist Request Thread

I am the group leader of the specialists. Therefore, I have created this thread for people who are considering becoming specialists.

If you want to be a specialist, you must make a request on this thread. You must fill out this form as your request:

GAC user name:
Spore user name:
Link to Spore page:
Field of Specialty:

*Note: You may not choose "Adventure Editor" for Field of Specialty

Once this form has been filled out, post it on this thread and I will personally check your creations. If I feel that you are worthy of the Specialist status, then I will approve you and get an admin to upgrade you.

Now remember, anybody who specializes in a certain Spore editor is eligible to become a specialist, regardless of current rank. If feel that you would like it, then the title of Specialist could be yours.

Oh, sorry Burn, but I forgot to mention: you can't specialize in the adventure editor. That's why we're in GAC, you know. Anything but the adventure editor would work. Sorry. I'll add that to the OP.

Please keep in mind, everyone, when you get changed to a specialist, your name will become yellow. You will not be able to keep your current color.

Gamer, I looked over your GA props, and I have to say, they were definitely above average. Your recent ones were outstanding. I definitely think that you're worthy of becoming a specialist.

Frostie, your creature outfits were the best part of your work. They were very creative in use of both captain and space stage parts. You are also ready to become a specialist.

Both of you are clear for an upgrade. However, Gamer, I'm thinking that changing you to a specialist may take away your Elite Adviser privileges. I'll have to PM Camel about that. So, I'll have you both taken care of very soon.

What? Why? Elite Advisors is a higher rank. That doesn't make sense but if ut actually does please do not make me a specialist as it would demote me.

Actually, I just checked some stuff, and it turns out that I can add members to the Specialist group without an admin helping. And also, Gamer, I think that if you become a specialist, you'll just be added to the group, but your name will still be brown. So I'll do some experimenting, and if it works, it works. I'll get to that right now.

In my own opinion i think Specialists are completely uneccesary.

No. We are not getting rid of specialists. As the group leader, I totally deserve to be able to keep my group. The specialist rank is unnecessary, true, but so are cookies and ice cream. Specialists are nice to have around. Maybe some people like their names being yellow. Maybe they want to show everybody that they are awesome Spore creators. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

If we were to remove every unnecessary rank in the forum we would be left with about three of them.

Hmmm....I'm not really very good at anything in particular or overall...I may apply If I did more stuff on spore....

You CAN rank up if you become a specialist right? or are you stuck forever?

@Lazer: I don't see why you should be stuck forever at any rank. In any case, even if you did rank up afterwards you'd still be part of the specialist group. Because once you go yellow...

Yes, you can still rank up while keeping specialist status. When you rank up, you don't leave the previous group. You are simply added to the next group. So as you climb the ranks, you are still members of the previous groups that you were in. Get it?

EDIT: Thor, your buildings are amazing. They are incredible works of art. I just don't know where to start on how good they are. Adding you to the group now. Congratulations!

I'm not exactly requesting an upgrade but could you just look and give feed-back or if they are good enough to upgrade then great but I don't really care...I would just like a review.
