| It bothers me when I look at sections of the forum (especially the Off-Topic section) and see tons of locked threads piling up at an alarming rate. Some of these threads are completely unnecessary to the forum, and I think we need to start deleting threads to get them out of the way.
Here's how it works: a Mod looks at a locked thread and thinks it should be deleted. They ask for permission from an admin to delete the thread. The admin grants permission, and the thread is deleted. Or the admin can delete the thread themselves. Very simple.
Who's with me? | |

| I'm with you, many dead threads need to be deleted anyway, like the old spam thread. if there was a like button, R+

| If you can work it out so that our post numbers won't be deleted, that's what GAC needs | |

Very many posts does not a hero make... the number of posts you have does not determine your coolness or authority. Sure, it's nice to have a bunch of posts, but what does it say about you? That's right, NOTHING

| It's a good idea... But, In the sporum. There's a section wich only Mods and Admins can see. The Spam section. Here they put all the spam threads. I think we could do the same. If camel knows how to do that... It'll be like an archive you know, where we storage spam threads and could take out info if needed. | |

| I think the idea is good as long as it's used in moderation. Since I'm TECHNICALLY An admin I guess I can traffic delete requests. But anyway, I'm pro - gelatinos Idea. | |

That is actually a very good idea... make a whole new section to move all our unwanted threads to, so we don't have to delete them. We'd have everything on archive, but it would be out of the way.

Exactly! I told Hutch about it. He said he would think about and tell camel.. But we could tell before him though..
