Byball9's Ships of Space

My favorite editor, aside from the adventure editor, is the spaceship editor. When I'm not working on adventure, I'm usually making ships. These are some of my best. Please be as critical as you wish; I really want to know how to become better at this:

Those ships are very good! But I really think you should take your time when painting the ships. So many people use that kind of texture on ships, but it looks bad. You need to use flat colors, but use a metallic texture and use multiple colors that look good on the same ship. Just make sure to not use designs that are too complex, or it will be hard on the eyes and will blend together, making the rest of the small features on the ship harder to see.

try making textures using blocks, like adding squares here and there and colouring them and the base solid colours. otherwise really great design, especially the first one ;)

That new ship is pretty neat! I like the variation in colors and how the parts do not look like they were jammed into the ship. Make sure the transitions between wing and hull are clean.
