The Sporum

Here you basically can talk about the sporum and voice your opinions on matters going on with it. A part of it or not, talk about anything sporum related here.

I will start.

Can anyone get on it? I am having problems with it still and its been like this for an entire week now. I have to use chrome to get on it instead of firefox. Its really annoying to be honest.

I heard there's a trick to fix it temporarily for FF 6.0.2, that BB posted.
I haven't checked it yet (Because it's still screwed up) but I hope things get fixed as soon as possible. Seems like a royal pain.

I tried the method but it still fails to work. Why did EA have to abandon the place. >_>

You said you had to use Chrome to get on the site...Chrome doesn't work for me either. Is it SPOREadic* or does it work all the time?

*I know it's spelled sporadic.
I wanted to make a lame joke, though, so I spelled it wrong on purpose.
Does that make me a bad person?

It's fixed, then it breaks again. Hard to predict what will happen really.

The funny thing is, this haappens every year around this time.

I wouldn't know, I only joined earlier this year.

EDIT: Birthday of the sporum perhaps? Maybe it's bugging out because it's close to when it was created.

Whatever the reason, Maxis always fixes it after a few days but its been a week. =/

I hope they do fix it, and not leave it to rot like they've done with the sporepedia.

I am sure at some point soon Maxis Puzzle will roll in and fix it. For them not to have solved this issue by now its odd even for Maxis to not show up during one of these times.

It's fixed now. At least for me.

Its been on an off, still not working for me. You know whats great about this? They updated spore day on the site and it includes a link to the sporum. They took to time to advertize it more, without realizing its broken an almost no one can post.

I'm still seeing people post at times I can't post, it's kinda odd. Though I do see the Sporeday thing, they still haven't updated the picture. It's still Darkspore Community invite.

It shows that message on my Spore page, but it has the Darkspore picture.

Maxis Kyle announced that the null pointer errors that have been crippling the sporum for the past week are now gone.

I'd just like to say that some people on there are pretty annoying and that certain people enjoy derailing threads for their own amusement while pissing me off.

And... That's it, just annoying.

I will be blunt. The one user I can say I actually hate, Fleenook. Can't stand him.

I hate Wollywog and alts, he's annoying as hell.

Every thread I made there was trolled to death. :/

Lol this is like a sporum initiation type thing. When I first joined I had a lot of users hating on me too. I sucked it up and now look. Some people on there actually fear me. Its silly.

But things are not like it used to be, when your new now days, your on alternative account to someone. How wrong these people are. If you even say "HI I am new" you are treated like a spammer.

That place has gone down the crapper. The moderators don't seem to do anything there, I've asked them to help deal with some of the users that were trolling me, and they never responded. Another weird thing is all my threads disappeared. I searched them and couldn't find a single one.

The search engine fails, go to one of your posts, click profile, then click "All of ___'s topics"

Which moderator did you PM? A huge amount of them are inactive so only Slyth, Kyle, and BlackBird will work.

Well, that was a long time ago, but I messaged Vek, Slime, and blackbird. I remember searching all of__'s topics. Still nothing showed. Maybe they were deleted?
