Blackstar RP OCC

Ok, battles... The chat box would be the easiest way to have them, but that requires everyone who wants to be involved in one to all be on at once. Not likely to happen very often.
If it ever does, someone should post it in the RPG.
Another way could be to have a “Game Master” who would basically play the part of the enemies. The Game Master could also be a narrator, a way to introduce new information (not just about battles) into the story without one the characters directly saying it.
Back to battle ideas… The Game Master decides what the characters are going to encounter. It would probably help to plan a level out ahead of time, at least give the players a basic layout or something.
Now there’s a possible problem with a character entering a battle, then not posting again for days… I suggest this gets your character killed off and stuck into a regeneration chamber or something…
All that stuff could be posted in the RPG, it’s part of the game play so it’s not really clutter. To avoid confusion, maybe stuff like narrator text and battle field layouts could be posted in a different color then the character dialogue. Just some brainstorming, feel free to add your own ideas everyone.

Since I'm two characters now, I think I'll do the 2nd ones name in a different color in the RP. Haven't decided which color yet... Think it'll help clarify which character I'm posting as. Will change it back to normal if everyone thinks it's a dumb idea.

You're newest post on the RP, Dark. We can't land, we already crashed. Just edit it to say something descriptive about the crash site, or something...

As the ship appoached what would appear like Port Morgavus, Grox ships turned off their decoy and shot down the ship.
"Those blasted Grox... Hang on! " Ardent yelled. The ship started to decend onto low orbit, when it finally crashed on the planet's surface.
A few minutes were needed for the team to recuperate, While the Grox ships flew off, going away from the planet.
Terwynd groaned and sighed, "Looks like they were expecting us. Port Morgavus must've crashed close by he- There it is!" he pointed to the ruined spaceport.
Ardent exhaled and replied, "if we survived while we were on a frigate, it's likely the spaceport's residents survived as well. What do you say we go there and see what this is about?"

Homeworld: New Zartar (What's left of it)
Weapons: Zaretian edge and a modied FEV rifle.
Bio: Thannis was sent to this galaxy along with many other Zaretians to colonize this galaxy... but then the Black Star event happened and almost every Zaretian was wiped out but Thannis and 5 others. Now he's desperate to find a ship that's capable of traveling to other galaxies so he can return to the Zaretian empire in his home galaxy...

I've noted you and Delta in the application post because of what I saw in the Grox War RP. You two are NOVELISTS. Seriously, all your posts in there are like, two paragraphs apiece and your level of detail could very well rival R. A. Salvatore. (Geez, his books are long as heck because of that, but they're quite enjoyable to read due to the same thing.)

I want to kill off one of my characters eventually... In a heroic way... Not immediately, or even very soon, just when it fits the plot in a cool way. I think it will be Yudrosun... Just putting it out there. So Terwynd, if you need a team member to die in a cool way to progress the plot sometime, Yudrosun is your man
