On the upside, I found a town right next to my spawn. Who needs to build a starting shelter now when you can have a large, pre built base?

My Minecraft keeps crashing every few seconds, and it only started when I got 1.8. Does anyone else have that problem? And more important, does anyone know a solution?

Well I can't get 1.8 to work so it looks like I'm stuck with normal Minecraft for now which to be honest I don't mind.

I acually cannot log into Minecraft unless I play In-browser. :/
It just keep telling me "Login Failed" Even though my Password and Internet connection are fine.

This happened to me as well before, the problem was you have the old Minecraft.exe file. Download it again from the website and it should let you log in.

EDIT: Uhm, I think I did it wrong, because I spawned next to a crevice with a mine running through it, which I'm not sure why it's possible, as it's supposed to be pre 1.8... Also I can't seem to find any civilisation. :C

You need some help with that, bean? I've been playing tf2 longer than most of us, so I can check for accuracy.
2fort sucks, though. Maybe you guys could try coldfront or freight later on?
Well, it depends how large the map is. This one I suppose(?) isn't large in the way of TF2 maps, but it was still a fair amount of work, I suppose.

Coldfront is a mid-sized 5-CP (Or whatever it's called, when both teams have to defend and cap control points) map, so It shouldn't be too hard. It's symmetrical, so it would be easier to do than dustbowl. The main issue would be with the mid and second to last capture points, as the mid point is situated in a clearing between two ridges. And the second to last caps would just be difficult to pull off with blocks. Another annoying thing would be laying down snow (It is called coldfront for a reason) but aside from that, it shouldn't be too much of a problem if we have enough people who have good map knowledge.
And in retrospect, my post sounded kind of jerk-ish. I apologize for that. I now also realize that freight is a very difficult map to make in default minecaft. Far too many angles :/
If you guys are doing another tf2 map project, see if you have space for me. I'd be more than happy to help if you want me along. I might even break down and download hamachi :/
