get it. it makes everythign worth a certain credit. you ern credit by selling and loos it by buying.

it doesn't need a client mod either.

Why money items would be better than iConomy is because they'd take up inventory space, you could store them in chests and buying stuff would be much easier (without those confusing iConomy shops). But it would still require a client mod.

okay guys I am back which means the server will be up and running again tomarrow as always.
Okay, Notch decided to update to 1.7, but considering the server is a bukkit server, there is no way to update untill bukkit does. so, yea....

What we can do is discuss the rules and other stuff on the server, like the manner of speech (old timey, modern, ect.) and how people progress in the server, do we want people to be able to start new cities for their nation? Discuss.

We provided them with the best capitals available, but limited in the ways of housing, and eventually storage. We should allow players to set up new towns as they please, we should only be making the bare minimum, which means that I'll be tearing down some of my structures.

However, the unclaimed houses, and the spa thing can stay. The players should be making their new roads and cities, if you ask me.

I suggest you get MP Utils for the server. It has some useful commands and it doesn't require a client mod.

Also, it has a better give command so you can give yourself stuff like colored wool, different dyes etc. and I need brown wool and there's no way to give yourself cocoa beans (without MP Utils or some other mod with better give command).

Well, here is a rough draft of what the server is about,

The RPG is about 3 Nations, The Mining Federation, the Farmer's union of Eve (Probably will be changed) and the Gatekeeper Society, each nation has a certain export and specialization, but is in dire need of some other resource to do their jobs effectively.

Mining Federation:

A highly industrialized, monarchy nation that is in control of most of the mines, natural caves, and underground operations in *Insert realm name here* They produce a large amount coal and iron and mass produce cobblestone in automated mills. Despite this, their home. A large tundra, has little to no wood. Hindering their ability to produce swords, picks, and shovels, and has no fertile ground that allows them to produce crops and livestock.

They work on a draftee army, where every member of the society has a chance of being enlisted into either the stand army, or the militia, who protects their cities and can be hired out by other nations to protect them.

Their housing, within city limits are 3 story apartments, with small rooms allowing three people to live in the robust, easily created homes that most miners and guards will reside in.

The Farmers union of Eve

A modest democratic nation that has settled on a large chunk off very fertile land, they are control a large fraction of the farms and pastures in *Inset realm name here* They produce large amounts of grain, sugar cane, wood, pork, hides, and wool but have little to no iron, coal, or other raw materials. As a result, their volunteer army is very poorly equipped, but weaponry and cheap armor is abundant due to the amount of wood produced, and cows slaughtered.

Their houses are mostly modest suburban shacks, with the poor or new farmers residing in very small houses within the cities. The Richer members of the nation, however. Reside in large, lavish wooden mansions.

The Gatekeeper society

A republic nation that are the head economists of *insert realm name here*. Though they have no control over the caves, and little to no fertile land; they are in completely control of every major road, trade route, and shop in *Insert realm name here* and tend to charge a "small" fine on any travelers that pass by their checkpoints, and take a small cut out of the contents of trading minecarts. As a result, they buy off everything they need.

Almost every citizen will live in a mid-sized or large house, with the elite living in gigantic private estates. The poorer crowd tend to live in community homes or smaller apartment buildings

They posses a mid-sized, well equipped army that is composed of both drafted and enlisted soldiers, that mostly acts as a border patrol or a militia. Keeping roads and trade routes protected from the monsters that wander at night.

And here is our "immigration" policy

Immigration:
If at any time you want to break off from your country and choose another one, you must first meet with an official for approval (They can say no) and you must give ALL of your tools, armor, and goods to your nation. You must also pay a relocation fee, then you are allowed to head back to the hub (Central area, rail systems to each nation) and you can immigrate to a nation of your choosing (The other nations reserve all rights to deny you, if they do. You have to go back to your home nation, but you'll get your stuff back.)

If you want to immigrate again, you must again get approval from your official, hand over your gear, but the relocation fee is DOUBLED and this is the LAST time you can immigrate, so you better be careful and choose your nation carefully. Any other attempts to immigrate will be denied.

I'll add rules and other things later as we come closer to finishing this place up


Basically, this server is all about interactions between each nation. You need to trade with them, so being an isolationist is just a bad idea. You can start alliances with them, or take a risk and try to go to war with them and take everything for yourself. It's more of a social RPG, if anything else.

Thanks Hutch. I couldn't had said it any better. As for the rules, there should be different rules for each nation, but we will deal with that later.

Can somebody tell me who had the need to cover NOX's lighthouse with Diamond? I can't take screenshots on this computer, but I walk into the lighthouse to see it covered in diamond ore. I cleaned it up, but seriously. Why would someone do that?

I have noticed that people are getting board of the server, which I say is a good sign that we are almost done with the building. As soon as we complete the nether arena, we can start putting finishing touches on the server.

Also, we need to start on the Rules and story for the server and suggestions?
