It is time. Time to Rhyme!

tomorrow i'm gonna go
somewhere where they've got snow
to fight a very evil foe

the end.

My rhyming's not really that good.
Maybe because I'm just not in the mood.
Or would the blame be on my lack of food?
Either way, my poems will never be wooed.

Of course, in Hebrew my rhyming's superior;
I can pull a good rhyme right out my posterior.
But in English? Oh no, that's a different story-
To my own disability I am feudatory.

Maybe because of my primitive mind
The proper cadences I just cannot find,
So I'm sorry, but since my rhymes are so lame,
I'm afraid I just can't be a part of this game.

I used to be the king of this thread.
I need to take back the throne.
Nobody can match with my superior skills
Of literary renown.

Just try and make a better masterpiece
Of prose or poetry
Than that of which I make every day
With my literary potency.

Even the simplest, laziest forms
Of poetry, like a haiku.
I have mastered, and you can't beat
The writings that I can do:

The potency of
An incredible author
That no one can best

Talking of Kings and Crowns.
But in all due respect, he's really a pain
As redundant as a Bucket of Clowns!

I'm just kidding, of course; he's a great young feller
In his own bizarre little way
But I think he should rather write a bestseller
Instead of ranting all day!

Dory01, I quite agree,
That Gelatino should not offer his fine work for free.
But as it is free for us, let it be.
He's got no problem rhyming, that I can see.

But as for me, I have trouble with the timing,
Indeed, my work could do with a polish; some shining.
But what I'm better at is making Signatures.
Now as few words rhyme with Signature,
I've cleverly reused the word; JK,
And now I come back to the beginning, where I say;
If Gelatino wishes to be rich, people must pay.

I have an odd a curious power,
to kill a thread, and let it fall from the top of the tower,
to the bottom of the list.
Try as I might, I cannot pummel it back to fame,
Not by eloquence of speech, not use of my fist;
Because it seems to me, when I post on a thread, it's called lame.

Now if I'm wrong, please correct me,
If I'm right... well, we'll see.
If nobody posts within 10 days,
then I fear that this thread will be moved the cemetery,
The place known as the "Locked" section, where there are many graves.
For I fear that to I'll soon be writing this thread's obituary.

The blame is not on you, my friend;
It's nothing you've done, nothing you said.

With oh, so few a member,

I'm really surprised.
I thought this thread died ages ago, guys!

No, it did not,
It recently came back,
Now it is no longer a blot.
I've brought in some knack,
some skill for rhyming and timing,
I'm making my lines longer and longer,
Longer and wider, these lines are climbing!
And now they are not getting stronger,
but failing and getting much shorter,
This poem will not last longer,
It's now sealed with mortar.
I finish, nobody knows,
That this is the close.
