| Well, this is the first real Elite thread, so let's try something good. Everyone here probably believes video games are an art form, (at some level, and in some games) so the question is, what adventures in Spore deserve the title of 'Art?' I'll start by saying, Nethellus is basically the shakespeare of Spore. All three of his adventures are ridiculously good, and extremely artistic, especially Braintree. | |

| That wasn't the topic of the discussion Camel. We're assuming, for these purposes, that Spore is art. What we're really trying to decide I guess, is what kind of spore is the MOST artistic. | |

| Actually, now that I think of it... Nethellus is one of the only spore creaters to make an "Artistic" adventure. Though 'Whom Gods Destroy might qualify too.' | |

| are we talking artistic by the look, or the fact that it's almost poetic? | |

| this is sorta off topic but I'm trying to organize a video art, machinima and music videos, thread on the official sporum that organizes and promotes talented spore video artists and their work. I thought I'd promote/recruit in the elite section of this forum since the people here are probably more serious about using spore as an artistic medium.

| Hey, Bean, this thread is for art made in Spore! If you want to show off that piece of art, do it in the "Your Artwork" section! | |

| I reckon some of Parkaboy's adventures should be classifed as "art". Specially his mini game adventures, he is amazing at scenery and knows excatly how to manipulate the adventure editor to make top noch gameplay. |

| All of my adventures are top-notch pieces of art...
...But I don't like to sound arrogant. Basically, in my opinion, any adventure with a unique plot and good gameplay is art. By "gameplay" I mean like, how far do you have to travel to get to the next goal, or are there enough puzzles to make the adventure interesting but not too many to make it boring. That kind of stuff. | |
