7/10 catchy, but a bit morbid.

7/10 Low vocals remind me of metal, beat was very groovy though, which was nice. The vocals at 1:41 reminded me a bit of the Beatles for whatever reason. Got a bit repetitive for my tastes though, to be honest.
The anime itself is great too. ^^

8.9/10 I like it. A nice calm tune that I found rather relaxing.
Speaking of anime I've recently started watching One Piece and I am hooked. Here's a song from the anime that I'm quite fond of.

FUNimation usually does a good job with dubs, but they really dropped the ball on this one. It's lack of rhyme and awkward syllable-per-verse fluctuations made this really, REALLY hard to listen to. 2/10

9/10, I've been wondering about your fascination with Steam-Powered Giraffe for a while without ever looking into them, but this kinda explained it. :P
Time for some Christmassy tunes! Personally, I love me some Carol of the Bells. There are a bunch of great versions on youtube, but this one in particular sticks out to me.

Calm at the beginning but flares up later on into a considerably dramatic melody. I think I've gust found a new favorite. 9/10

For the most part I'd agree with you. They seem to have had a bit of trouble dubbing the One Piece themes. That's probably why they just started using the Japanese themes later on in the series.

Since you didn't post a song, I'll do it instead. On a side-note, this is an example of what I expect from FUNimation's dubs:

Now how of all things did I forget to post a song. That's embarrassing.
Anyway that is a very god example. I'd agree the quality of that is very good. 9.3/10 And regardless of how the themes came out I'm still glad FUNimation got a hold of One Piece. I'm sure 4Kids tried their hardest but lets face it One Piece is not the sort of anime that can be successfully made child friendly. Their voice actors weren't very good either.
But anyway this time I actually have a song. Yay!
