What does "Intelligence of Posts" mean, and how do I make it bigger?

Intelligence of posts is a count of how many positive votes your posts have received. It can only be increased by other people voting up your posts.

Likewise, voting down posts decreases the user's post intelligence. I suppose it's more of a popularity counter than an intelligence counter.

I like these kinds of threads as they sometimes spark random "rating wars". Certainly on the Sporum when karma is mentioned.

The problem is, people get bugged down with this sort of thing.
