Hurricane to hit the eastren seaboard of the United states

I'm OK. i have 4 foot water in the basement, and wouldn't have electricity till sunday if i hadent hijacked power from down the street where they still have it. so i'm all OK. and guess what! at 1 in the morning when the huricane hit, a got my headlamp, got on my bike and went biking! it was AWESOME. i wanna do that again. alot.

Well, I lost power for four days. Luckily, it came back on right after the first day of school. They had to push back the first day for two days, so I'm not complaining. It really wasn't that bad when it hit me, so I' not sure exactly why everyone lost power. Luckily, I live on high land, so no flooding.

I lost power for 2 days due to a very large tree falling on the road behind the one I live on, both my neighbors had to get their basements drained (Luckily not mine though), a local small stream rose about 7 feet and flooded the streets,my garage was nearly destroyed by falling branches, and my friends roof nearly collapsed. It wasn't the worst hurricane. No houses were destroyed and only a few trees fell where I live. It was pretty scary though, since there is a tree in my neigbors yard that was already tilted towards my house and could have done serious damage if it fell. Also, all the trees on my street are now tilted to the right.
