What would you guys rate spore?

Fun, boring.

On a scale of 1 to 100... 1000

Creating Creations: 6/10
Creating Adventures: 8/10 (i would make it 10/10 but it has some glitches)
Ingame: 2/10

Total scale: 5.3/10

Eight Willosaurs out of ten. Main game got boring somewhat swiftly, but the creators, GA and the community have kept me coming back for over a year and a half.

That's... rather a long time for any game...

Creature Creators: 7/10

Only problem is that there aren't enough parts, and that none of the mouths have the spit ability.

Vehicle Creators: 9/10

Very good.

Building Creators: 8/10

Pretty good.

Adventure Creator: 6/10

Great, but there are a LOT of problems with it. I'll get into more detail later.

Cell Stage: 4/10

Pretty boring.

Creature Stage: 7/10

Great, but as I said before, not enough creature parts. And the social aspect could be improved, as the creatures often behave as sentient beings...

Tribal Stage: 8/10

Very good.

Civilization Stage: 6/10

Pretty good, but needs a lot of improvement.

Space Stage: 9/10

My favorite by far, but needs LOTS of improvement. See my Space Stage Improvements! post on the Let's Make a Better Spore! thread.

Overall: 6.4/9

EDITORS

The Creature editor is amazing so that gets 10/10 WITH creepy and cute Without 10 still.

Vehicle editors need more variety....7/10 with GA 6/10 without due to functionality

Outfitters need some way to edit the spine with out fitting but otherwise perfect 9/10 with GA 9/10 without GA

Cell editor needs more parts and easier acessability and being able to add limbs useless in GA so 3/10


Adventure editor is really good but needs more functions. No complexity would be nice too 8/10

building editor is confusing and the complexity is eaten up too fast...Disappointing 5/10

STAGES
Cell stage is very interesting but needs better graphics and more complex goals 4/10

Creature AND playing in GA are odd need more abilitys with both and there should be unlimited flight for glide lvl 5 creatures.But good graphics and overall gameplay the aquatic option for creature stage would have made the creature stage alot funner Creature:7/10 GA:9/10

Tribal stage is h3ll and needs more goals and possibally the introduction of cooking food to make it worth more....6/10

Civ stage is too easy and there needs to be atleast 100 citys on each planet 7/10

Space Stage is fun and it never ends but planets are too small,1 archtype is missing from the game (Knight),needs more colony options,and it also needs more varity pf stars and planets 10 terrascore would be better then 3. with GA 9/10 without 7/10

Overall

kinda dissipionting and needs massive improvment of anything 4 and less but still one of the best games out there 8/10

Creators: Great. All have their strengths and weaknesses.
In-Game: Awful. Just awful.
Adventures: Glitchy, but a well made adventure is great.
C&C: Waste of money. Only used for one part and the paint jobs by me.

I second this motion.

Also, you guys are being really harsh on the game component of Spore. I personally think it's great, mostly because you can't reproduce it in the adventure editor. It's like having a built-in adventure with more possibilities than the adventure editor.

anyways, the adventure editor is an easy 9.5 but most other editors are in eights or sevens for me... especially creature editor, but that's just because I'm not too handy with it

I'll give the creator creator a 10 because when it first came out, it was pretty cool. Vehicles and building editor, I'll give them a 7. You can make some cool stuff in them, but it's time consuming because of the lack of creator freedom. I don't want to have to use tricks to move a part a certain way. Adventure editor gets a 5 because I can imagine it being so much better.

I give the cell, hut, and plant editor all a 3 for not being there.

But You got to confess we don't really need new aquatic parts or a Galactic Stage, SPORE ROCKS!

Aqua stage is unecessary. It's probably not even as fun as everyone thinks.

i think that transitions from stage to stage should be gradual. like... running from epics then 2 minutes later, pwning them with spears???? what about caves and paintings... and stone tools? and ....well you get the idea.

i find irony in the dislikes. =P

from an innovation standpoint, i'd say it's an awesome game.
from a gameplay standpoint, halo is way cooler (fps junkie)

overall, i think its an awesome game. i like making adventures

Creepy and Cute: 5/10.... can't release adventures with it, because of my fan base, but it can be helpful sometimes.
