The Kogake is officially my favourite weapon in the game and no-one can convince me otherwise.
I mean come on, there is nothing more satisfying than kicking Grineer marines in the face and watching the ragdoll tumble down a drop.

This is going to be the event that rewards with the Snipetron, isn't it. I'm not going to be special anymore.

Some think it's going to be a Snipetron variant, like a vandal/prime/whatever.

WEEKEND EVENT IS LIVE!
Here's some important information. -The drones only appear on grinner levels over level 15 (I've heard E-Prime is a good place to look.) -You must destroy them in one hit. -Teammate's kills do not count for your kill count. -The map with begin to glitch when there is one nearby. -If you destroy 20 or over you will get the Snipetron Vandal. -The Snipetron Vandal is RUMORED to come with it's own weapon slot and catalyst.

Actually, I'd contest that punching Grineer in half with the Furax is a bit more satisfying. :3

Everything is beautiful.
I've started the construction of a cross connector (and koi pond!) in the dojo, which should be done in ten hours — the plan I have in mind at present is to build a reactor onto the connector, and then the duelling room on the remaining Main Hall node. I had to cancel the old reactor build, venerable in its age as it was, but you should all have been reimbursed and the rooms are now super-cheap (there is still a cost of 1 Forma for each room. however). If the requirements aren't adjusted up again, we should be able to build a research suite and an obstacle course with the only real limiting factor being the build-times and making sure everything fits together nicely — I plan to put an elevator in for that purpose.
EDIT: Accounting for the reactor and connector we have already built, I calculate that for a complete suite of labs, an obstacle course and a duelling room (with connectors allowing for a node at either end to spare) we shall need the following resources:
I can trivially provide for the credits, ferrite, nano spores, polymer and alloy myself, but if anyone who wants to help could post how much forma, rubedo, circuits and salvage they have, we can figure out how to divide it up fairly.
My own totals:
—Forma: 7 (including the one I have building at the moment) —Rubedo: 2'912 —Circuits: 8'245 —Salvage: 35'243
Keep track of how much you've spent, or feel free to contribute more than these totals. :happy:When you're building, you can also feel free to put in as much or as little of everything else (credits, polymer etc.) as you like — we're not pushed for those resources, collectively.
I'm going to give you both Architect access, which should speed up the process, but if I start to see statues hanging from the ceiling or floor medallions that are just a litle off-centre and drive me insane aah I may have to reconsider. :Razz:My current plan is as follows:
This gets us pretty much everything we could want, with the power we need and a couple of nodes to spare at the end of the day for when they inevitably add more fun rooms. The first things I'm going to place is the obstacle course, the northern T-connector and the first southern cross connector — we may or may not have enough power to build the connectors and the duelling room at present, so it'd be best to play it safe and get the second one running, on either the north or south side.
EDIT: I've recalculated the power requirement and found that we shouldn't need to build a third reactor.

Thought I'd share some pics from the latest Warframe Livestream:
Weapon skins to be released exclusively for Halloween — how they're going to be distributed has yet to be determined.
Alad V, a new Corpus boss / personality incoming, who will apparently be featuring in an interesting-sounding upcoming event...
A screenshot (not just a concept for) the new Corpus Gas City tileset.
The 'Berserker' warframe. Apparently she's going to be pretty fighty, a la Rhino. Those are whips hanging off of her gauntlets.

Looks pretty cool, especially the new tileset; love me some Bespin-esque landscapes.
Hopefully I can be back playing this with you guys in a week or so; I just ordered my new computer earlier today! Really looking forward to catching up on all I missed. Got any suggestions for new weapons/missions to go for?

Oh wow, there's been so much new stuff — great to hear you're finally getting back on your feet.
Weapon-wise I hardly know where to begin, though the Orthos (polearm) is definitely worthwhile for its sweet look and animations, and we have a number of clan-tech weapons to peruse from the dojo — just check the wiki before you buy the prints, most if not all of it is XP-locked. Which reminds me: the dojo!
If I recall correctly, there've been several new tilesets and one whole planet added since you last played: You can access Phobos via Mars, which is the exclusive home of the Desert Outpost set. The Grineer also have their own Galleons now. Then there's the Orokin Void, so shiny, and the Orokin Derelicts, both of which are accessed by acquiring different keys. The new Captain Vor and Derelict boss are both awesome — prep some music before engaging the second. >.>
Most recently, all the game's Raid missions have been replaced with the new Survival game mode, which I rather enjoy because it has the massive mob-swarms of Defence without tying you down to something you have to defend: your objective is to collect air tanks from fallen enemies and designated spots on the map to keep yourself alive while fighting increasingly challenging waves of enemies, with a reward for every five minutes — cumulatively, unlike defence.
Anyway, you probably know about at least some of this stuff unless you've been consciously avoiding it (which I would have been if I'd not had a computer to run it for a long period of time) but this just about covers the big things, apart from the new warframes — two or three entirely new ones (was Vauban out back then? My gut tells me he wasn't...) and two new Prime frames, available exclusively through the Void missions. Do ALL the things!

With the new even t coming up I have to ask; Whose side are we going to support? The Corpus or the Grinner?

Just so you guys know, I packaged up my computer tonight and will be sending it back tomorrow morning to be fixed (if you're unaware, the Z and X keys came being completely unresponsive.) It was great fun playing with you guys again, but it looks like it might be another week (crossing my fingers it doesn't end up being two,) before I'm back with you all for good. I really hate that this has to happen, but I paid a four-figure sum for this thing; far too much to pay for even a small defect like two non-functioning keys. Cya guys again soon!

Here's the leaked Warframe from the latest Prime Time.
I'm thinking she'll be a water or wind based frame judging from her design.

My bet is on air — it reminds me a lot of the fan-designed (heh) air-themed frame that's on the forums, which I recall one of the devs commenting was 'inspiring'...

A leaked frame say waaaaaaat?
Looks pretty cool to me. ^_^ An air-themed frame might be interesting, hopefully giving us maneuvering opportunities similar to Valkyr's Ripline or something. Honestly I'll just wait until the next Dev Q/A to see what they show of it.

IT'S A NEW EVENT!
Quote :
A message from The Lotus:
Tenno,
Weeks ago we received intel about a Corpus raid on a little-known independent research facility near Eris. The Corpus made off with a scientific jackpot, the formulation of a rediscovered experimental Orokin alloy called Oxium. This lighter than air alloy has already been deployed in a new drone dubbed the Oxium Osprey which forgoes its support role in favor of dynamic attacks.
With this new drone The Corpus think they have gained the upper hand, but we will use this development to our own ends. Oxium could be the cornerstone of new Warframe design but first we need to research its properties. Go into the field, take out the new Ospreys and bring back the Oxium. You will be rewarded for your efforts. -Lotus
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO - You will receive a message from the Lotus with a single objective - collect a new crafting resource called Oxium (an Orokin alloy). - This new resource can be found by hunting for the Oxium Osprey - a new enemy with unique behavior. The Oxium Osprey can be found in any Corpus level set. Select Corpus containers may also contain Oxium. - Follow your individual progress bar to see how much Oxium The Lotus requires you to collect. - Once you have fulfilled the objective, The Lotus will contact you to congratulate you and provide you with your reward.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - This Operation is on now until February 5 at 12 PM EST. - Once you have successfully completed the Operation, it will disappear. - Any Oxium obtained in addition to The Lotus’ requirements will remain in your inventory to be used towards the crafting of new Warframes and future weapons.
REWARD Successfully complete the mission and you'll be rewarded with: - The new Aviator Mod - offers reduced damage while airborne - A 3-Day Affinity Booster
Go forth and collect, Tenno!
