Spore Adventure Help

Just got a new computer, and I'm having some trouble with my Adventures. They have a red "slash" symbol (you probably know what I mean) and I can't edit them. Does anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it?

The slash means that the adventures or the creations in them have been banned. There may be a possibility of restoring the adventures in dragging the PNGs into the editor.

Similarly, I have a problem with dragging PNGs into the editor. Its started out as an inability to open my bot parts creations, but now it has expanded to many other creations.

Are you referring to adventures that you have shared, or ones that you have migrated to your new computer? If it is the former, I have no idea what the issue is aside from what potato put forth about banned creations. If it is the latter, I'd suggest sharing them to an alt and then downlaoding them in-game from that alt.

Sorry I haven't responded earlier, I've been pretty busy this last week.

It turns out that many of my Adventures contained assets that I obtained through manual download (rather than subscriptions or sporecasts). So when I switched computers, I lost access to those creations.

Fortunately, I tried dragging the .pngs into the editor as suggested, and it worked perfectly! Those missing creations are back, and I can finally resume work on my GroxQuest saga.

The only things that didn't return were my awesome snapshots (though they are still in my MSC folder), but I can always take more.
